Love everything about the Collingswood Farmers’ market?
So do we!
Friends of the Farmers’ Market is a non-profit, volunteer civic organization that provides support services to the Collingswood Farmers’ Market; we want to help it remain a great community-based initiative that supports family farms in New Jersey and enhances life in Collingswood and the surrounding area.
We staff the information tent AND VEGGIE VALET, sell Market merchandise, help with special events, and our mission grows as we find more ways to be helpful!
Please join us as a member or lend your volunteer time and energy. To become a volunteer or get more information, email Tricia at collsfofm@gmail.com

What does Fofm do?
The friends of the Farmers’ Market (FOFM) staffs the Collingswood Farmers’ market headquarters in the center of the market. You can find us in a bright blue tent along with the veggie valet. We sell Market merchandise (Market bags, hats, magnets, tshirts, iced drink tumblers, etc), help with special events, and answer lots of questions about the market, vendors, and Collingswood in general.
How does volunteering work?
When do we work: Saturday mornings, may thru thanksgiving
We set up almost every saturday morning during market hours (exceptions are May Fair and extreme weather) but most volunteers work a few shifts a month or a few shifts a season.
We have two shifts. A set up shift (7:30am-10am) or a breakdown shift (10am-12:30pm). This leaves volunteers with time to enjoy the market with friends/family before or after your shift.
No one ever volunteers alone and your first few times you will be paired with an experienced volunteer. We have lots of fun!
